Vehicle Inspections

A WOF (Warrant Of Fitness) Inspection ensures that your vehicle meets the safety standards to be driven on New Zealand roads. You are required to keep your vehicle up to WOF standards at all times, and the only time you can drive a vehicle without a WOF is if you are driving it to an inspection station to get the warrant.

If you are planning on modifying your vehicle, you may need a LVV (Low Vehicle Volume) Certificate before you can get your WOF. For more details see the NZ transport site here.

If you have your eye on a secondhand vehicle, we would recommend organising a pre-purchase inspection, so you know exactly what you’re buying, and avoid any nasty surprises.
